How do I log in?

If you have already downloaded Rabble, navigate to where you have saved the Rabble application on your phone and select it to open it. After you have registered, your mobile number and password are validated to log in.

What is a Channel?

On Rabble, every user gets a username and profile. Your username is your "Channel Name," and your profile is your "Channel." Your Rabble channel is the center for all your Rabble activity and acts as your mobile space.

How do I set up my Channel?

From your "Channel Home" screen, select "Edit Channel." Here, you can update information about yourself including your channel picture, channel name, headline, gender, interests and your home location. You can also view your channel as others see it from the "Edit Channel" menu.

How do I upload a picture?

Post your pictures in your Rabble gallery by following these 3 easy steps:
-Take your picture
-Attach your picture to an email/picture message from your Rabble enabled phone.
-Send to channelname@rabble.com (replace "channelname" with the name of your Channel.)
-For example, if your Channel name is MadBlogger, send your picture message to madblogger@rabble.com.

What does "online" mean?

Online means that you are currently using Rabble and you are receiving text message alerts when Rabble users send you messages. You can change your online status from the "Channel Home" screen by selecting "Settings/Help."

What is a friend?

A "Friend" in Rabble is a user that either:
1)You invite to join your friends list by selecting "Invite As Friend" on their channel screen, or
2)A user who has selected you to be added to their friend's list.
When someone has invited you to join their Friends list, you will receive a message in the Message Center where you can either approve or deny the friend request. Certain settings including pic messaging and commenting can be restricted to "Friends Only."

How do I accept a Friend Request?

To accept a friend request, from the Channel Home screen select "Message Center." From here, select "Friend Requests." Select a message to open it. To approve the friend request, select "Accept." You will then be on each other's friends lists which can be found on the "Connections" screen.

How do I invite a friend to Rabble?

To invite someone you know to use Rabble, from your Channel Home screen, select "Create" and then select "Create Invitation."

How do I grow my friends list with people on Rabble?

To add others who already use Rabble to your friends list, select the "Invite As Friend" option on their channel or posts.

What is a Fan?

A fan is someone who has subscribed to your channel. When you update your channel with new information, they will see that you have updates in their Connections area.

What is the difference between a Fan and a Friend?

A Fan is a user that has subscribed to your channel. A Friend is a person that you have invited to be on your friends list, or vise versa. Subscriptions and Fans are one-way connections between users, while friends are mutual connections.

How do I know when my friends have posted new entries?

From your Channel Home screen, press the left directional arrow on your phone's navigation button to go to the Connections area. Select "Friends." From here, you can see if new material has been posted to your friends' channels.

How do I communicate directly with other Rabblers?

You can send a message, comment on a channel or comment on a specific blog post or event. To send a message to a user, from their channel or from their post, select "Send Message." To comment on a channel, select "Comment" to leave a comment for the user's channel. To comment on a specific post, select "Comment" when viewing the post.

How do I read my messages?

To access your messages, from the "Channel Home" screen select "Message Center." Select "Inbox" to see messages sent to you from other users on Rabble.

How do I know if I have new messages?

When you log into your Rabble channel, the number in parenthesis next to "Message Center" shows the number of new messages you have for your channel. You will also see an icon of an envelope to the left of your channel name if there are new messages awaiting you.

What do the red numbers in parenthesis mean?

The red numbers represent new content. For example, if your "Message Center" has a 5 next to it, that means you have 5 new messages. If your friend on your friends list shows a 7 next to it, that means they have posted 7 new posts since you last viewed their channel.
